a summer of celebration

The Munich Film Festival saw the premiere of the series "High Stakes," in which I play the American NASA scientist Dr. Eva Hastings and which was also nominated for the Bernd Burgemeister Prize: High Stakes/ZDF

That same week the German Dubbing Awards were presented in Berlin, where "A little someting extra" won the award for Best Comedy, in which I dubbed the grim cook: A little something extra

Both are beautiful and exciting productions that I can only recommend.

"High Stakes" follows the story of a young German Muslim woman who aspires to become an astronaut and looks for ways to finance her internship at NASA in the dark world of poker. Available from September 5, 2025, in the ZDF Mediathek and from September 14, 2025, every Sunday in double episodes on ZDF Neo.

"A little something extra" is the story of a group of people with disabilities who inadvertently take along two wanted criminals on their summer vacation, leading to all sorts of comical and heartwarming twists and turns. The French actors with disabilities were also voiced by German actors with disabilities, making this film especially worth watching and listening to. Available to stream on Amazon Prime.
