Am 12.4.2019 hatte ich mit dieser Adaption der Tennessee Williams Novelle The Roman Spring of Mrs Stone Premiere in Kiew. Dort hieß das Stück Snig u Kvitni oder Snow in April. Das Na Podol Theater ist die modernste Bühne der Ukraine und so kann es dort auch im Theaterraum auf Knopfdruck schneien.
Ich spielte auf Englisch, die Kollegen auf Ukrainisch.
Ein Abenteuer./On the 12th of April 2019 I had my first performance as Mrs Stone in this adaption of Tennessee Williams' novel The Roman Spring of Mrs Stone - or Snow in April as it was called there. Na Podol Theatre has the most modern stage in the whole of Ukraine and so it just takes the push of a button to make it snow. I was performing in English, my colleagues in Ukrainian and rehearsals took place in Russian. What an adventure.
